FarmAbility offers unique farm-based programmes for adults with autism and/or learning disabilities in Oxfordshire. Our mission is to help participants become independent, active, and connected members of society by engaging in meaningful, purposeful outdoor activities on working farms and green spaces.
Through our co-farming approach, participants (co-farmers) enjoy activities that improve physical health and well-being, foster a sense of community, and develop valuable skills. We believe in recognising and valuing the contributions of people with learning disabilities and those on the autistic spectrum.
- Programmes include: animal care, gardening, apple juicing, nature walks, creative projects, and more.
- Benefits: improved physical health, increased confidence, social connection, and skill development.
- Location: Activities take place on working farms and green spaces across Oxfordshire.
- Support: Our team includes occupational therapists and experienced staff dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
We welcome adults with autism and/or learning disabilities who are looking for meaningful occupation and community connection. Contact us to learn more about placements, volunteering, or how to become a co-farmer!
