Quit Ready is a free, friendly stop smoking service for residents of Leicestershire and Rutland. Our expert advisors offer personalised support to help you quit smoking for good, whether you’re just starting out or have tried before.
How we help:
- Flexible support via phone, text, online chat, and video call – choose what works for you.
- Free E-Cigarette starter kits available for those who want to quit with vaping.
- Specialist help for pregnant women, young people, and those with mental health needs.
- Accessible support for Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients via TypeTalk, video call, and text.
- Advice on stop smoking aids and treatment options.
- Support for smokefree homes and cars.
Our service is completely free and confidential. You’ll get regular check-ins, encouragement, and practical tips to help you stay on track. Many clients say our advisors make quitting feel personal and achievable.
Eligibility:
- Resident of Leicestershire or Rutland County Council district
- GP or employer based in Leicestershire or Rutland County Council district
Opening times: Mon–Fri 9am–7pm, Sat 10am–2pm. Closed Sundays. Emails can be sent anytime and will be answered as soon as possible.

Service Criteria - You must meet at least one of the following criteria to access our services:
- Leicestershire County Council or Rutland County Council Resident
- GP based in Leicestershire or Rutland County Council district
- Employer based in Leicestershire or Rutland County Council district
We operate Monday to Friday from 9am until 7pm and on Saturdays from 10am until 2pm.
