Your Store Charnwood is a social supermarket designed to help individuals and families in Charnwood who are struggling with the cost of food but are not in crisis. Our mission is to reduce food insecurity, save you money, and help the environment by offering surplus, donated, and purchased food at a fraction of the usual cost.
Members can shop once per week for just £3 per shop, with additional items available for larger families. Each shop includes a variety of foods such as store cupboard essentials, fresh fruit and vegetables, chilled and frozen items, plus non-food items like toiletries and detergents.
Beyond affordable food, Your Store connects members to a wide range of free support services, including:
- Debt advice
- Healthy cooking classes
- CV writing support
- Mental health and wellbeing resources
- Signposting to other local services
Our goal is to help you build confidence, develop your strengths, and flourish in the community. We also offer activities and opportunities to connect with others, making Your Store a supportive and welcoming place.
