Calm Harm is a free, award-winning app designed to help young people manage or resist the urge to self-harm. Developed by Clinical Psychologist Dr. Nihara Krause MBE in collaboration with young people, Calm Harm uses evidence-based principles from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
The app offers a range of activities to help you 'ride the wave' of self-harm urges, including:
- Comfort
- Distract
- Express Yourself
- Release
- Random
It also features a breathing exercise to help you stay mindful, regulate emotions, and reduce tension.
