Marlow Amblers Gentle Walk

Join our Marlow Amblers gentle walking group pilot.

Every Monday at 10am – Meet outside The M café, in Court Garden, Higginson Park, 3 Pound Lane Marlow SL7 2AE – Then meet for a cuppa afterwards so please allow up until 11.30am.

Walking is beneficial for both physical and mental health for several reasons:

Muscle Strength and balance: Walking supports various muscles in the body, which helps support balance and strength.

Joints: Walking is a low-impact exercise that is gentle on the joints, making it suitable for people of all fitness levels.

Mental Well-being: Walking can reducing stress, anxiety, and depression. Being out in the open air noticing nature increases mindfulness, and promotes relaxation and better sleep.

Social Activity: Our walking group pilot aims to be a be a social activity It provides an opportunity for social interaction while not confined to 4 walls, which contributes to a sense of community.
