Arthur's Shed is a welcoming community hub based at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity in Great Shelford, Cambridge. We offer free workshops and talks on a wide range of topics, from card making and paper crafts to astronomy. Everyone is welcome—you do not need any prior connection to the Hospice to join our activities or volunteer as a speaker.
Our sessions are designed to support your wellbeing by helping you learn or share skills, hobbies, and interests, and meet people from your local community in a calm and supportive space. If you are passionate about a subject, you can also become an Arthur's Shed volunteer and share your enthusiasm with others.
- All activities are free of charge, with a small donation per session welcomed to help cover the cost of materials.
- Refreshments are available free of charge during sessions.
- All materials are provided—just bring yourself!
- Sessions are flexible: you can leave at any time if you need to.
Accessibility: The Shed is fully accessible. Disabled parking bays are available for blue badge holders at the front of the Hospice. Other visitors should use Babraham Park & Ride (CB22 3AB) and follow the footpath to the Hospice.
