Rainham Foodbank's More Than Food Program offers a wide range of support services alongside emergency food parcels, helping people address the underlying issues behind their crisis.
We work in partnership with professionals and local organisations to provide additional help in areas such as:
- Sewing Projects
- English for Refugees
- Advocacy and Advice Service
- Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)
- Networking and Coffee Morning (Fresh Food Friday)
- Budgeting and Money Management
- Counselling
- Befriending Service
We also partner with KD Lifestyle Enterprise to help community members into employment. KDL specialists offer:
- Careers advice
- Interview techniques
- CV writing
- Free digital skills training (in partnership with Microsoft)
- Support in finding employment and training
Personalised support packages are available to help people overcome obstacles and gain the skills they need to enter or return to the workplace.
