The Lighthouse Project
Verified service

The Lighthouse Project is open to;

  • anyone in Leicester
  • over the age of 18
  • with a functional level of spoken English
  • who has experienced homelessness at any time in their life
  • or whose current housing situation is insecure.

We provide one to one support for six to nine months. You'll be matched with a specially trained volunteer who will have the time to listen to you and get to understand you. You can get help problem-solving, filling in forms, making phone calls, and building a routine.

There are no compulsory classes or goals you have to reach at The Lighthouse Project. You can decide what you want to talk about and what you want to achieve. You can choose if you want to speak over the phone or face-to-face, what kind of places you would feel comfortable meeting in, and how often you would like to talk.
