The Independent Living Agency (ILA) is a dedicated charity focused on empowering people to live independently, regardless of disability. Based in Dagenham, Essex, we work closely with local community centres and partners to provide a range of supportive services and projects.
Our services include:
- Floating support to help individuals maintain their independence at home
- Payroll and financial management services for those managing personal care budgets
- Shopping and cleaning assistance, including blitz cleaning for those who need extra help
- Disability employment support to help people with disabilities find and sustain work
- Peer support brokerage and group projects, such as the Forward Together Group, to foster community and address local issues
