We run a wide range of services that help local people remain independent and enjoy a better quality of life. Our work is powered by over 200 dedicated volunteers, and we couldn’t do it without them.
Volunteering with Tapestry is personally rewarding and offers you the chance to:

- Attend training, including dementia awareness
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Befriending (over the telephone and face to face)
- Helping at our Community Hubs (serving tea and coffee, supporting activities)
- Transport (volunteer drivers and escorts)
- Administration (behind-the-scenes support)
