The Friendship Spectrum

This brand new befriending group is especially for Autistic adults, those with ADD, ADHD or any other condition which can make forming friendships more difficult. NO DIAGNOSIS REQUIRED.

What happens at the sessions?
We have the use of a pool table and are in the process of sourcing board/card games. The hall is relatively large so people will have lots of space, we also have a quiet area inside the main entrance.

Will there be refreshments at the session?
Yes we provide snacks and both hot & cold drinks free of charge to all attendees.

Do I have to pay to attend?
No all of our sessions are free to attend.

Can I bring a friend/carer/family members?
Yes you are more than welcome to bring someone along with you. If you need a carer full time then please do bring them along as we are not trained carers.

When are the sessions held?
We meet on the first Thursday of the month* between 12pm and 2pm. *Excluding August.

Where is the sessions held?
We are very pleased to be working within the Twydall community and we now have access to the Twydall Community Centre on Beechings Way.

Is there wheelchair access?
Yes the venue is wheelchair accessible but unfortunately there is not a fully accesible toilet with rails. You will be able to get through the toilet doors but may need assistance to transfer. We are aware that this may mean you cannot attend, but we are working with the venue to look at the option of installing a fully accessible toilet in the future.
