Hinckley Community Fridge is a food waste reduction project offering free food to everyone in the local community. The fridge is run by a dedicated team of Leicestershire County Council volunteers, who collect surplus food from local food establishments and redistribute it to anyone who needs it.
Everyone is welcome — there are no eligibility requirements or booking needed. Simply come along during opening hours and help reduce food waste while supporting your community.
- Sessions run weekly on Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 - 11:00am
- Location: Hinckley Children and Family Centre, Granville Road, Hinckley, LE10 0PP
- Cost: Free
- No booking required
This project is delivered in association with Family Hubs and Hubbub registered charity (no 1158700).
