Chair yoga in East London

Chair yoga class is suitable for all ages and abilities. The aim is to reduce stiffness and improve mobility for everyday life. The breathwork and relaxation practices are designed to help you manage stress, feel calmer and sleep better. As well as seated postures, we usually do some standing but these are optional and can be modified.

If you are living with a movement disorder such as Parkinson’s Disease, have arthritis, rheumatism, high blood pressure, heart problems or any other condition where gentle movement is advised, then this class is suitable for you too. Or maybe you are just more comfortable moving from a chair. Everyone is welcome!

The benefits of yoga have been well documented from improved posture, mobility and balance to reduced anxiety and a lifted mood.

The class will be live in-person at Aston-Mansfield Community Centre on Wednesdays at 12-1pm.
