Our dedicated team provides emotional and psychological support to help you process your feelings and find comfort during difficult times.
What we offer:
- Group and drop-in sessions: Connect with others who understand your experience in a safe, welcoming environment.
- One-to-one support: Available for those assessed as needing more individual help.
- Specialist support for children and young people: Our team is skilled in helping children and young people understand and cope with bereavement, including support when someone close is diagnosed with a life-limiting illness.
- Support for parents, caregivers, and teachers: Guidance and resources to help adults support children and young people through grief.
- Compassionate Cafés: Free, drop-in community spaces to meet, chat, and share with others affected by loss.
- CompassionART Cafés: Express yourself through art in a friendly, non-judgmental setting. Activities include watercolour painting, salt art, and ceramics. No experience needed.
- Art therapy: Explore and understand your emotions through creative therapy with our specialist team.
- Companionship support: Trained Compassionate Neighbours offer weekly visits to help you reconnect with your community and activities you enjoy.
- Bereavement guide: Step-by-step support to help you navigate practical and emotional challenges after a death.
All services are free of charge, thanks to the generosity of our local community.
