SPACE Hertfordshire is an award-winning charity dedicated to supporting families of children and young people who are neurodivergent, including those with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Tourette’s, and other neurodiverse conditions.
We offer a wide range of services designed to help families navigate local services, build confidence, share knowledge, and enjoy social opportunities where everyone can truly 'be themselves'.
- Support Groups: Friendly, informal in-person groups for parents and carers to meet, share experiences, and find community.
- 1:1 SEND Family Support: Free telephone or face-to-face support from our SEND Family Support Workers.
- Events for Young People: Safe, inclusive, and engaging activities for neurodivergent children and young people across Hertfordshire.
- Workshops and Courses: Free online sessions for parents and carers covering many aspects of supporting neurodivergent children and young people.
- Lending SPACE: Borrow sensory, practical, and educational resources for free, plus access to a sensory room for children to stay and play.
- Understanding My Autism and ADHD: A free, empowering programme for young people to learn more about neurodiversity and their own experiences.
Whether you are just starting to explore neurodiversity, are in the diagnostic process, or have received a diagnosis, SPACE Hertfordshire is here to help you every step of the way.
