Are you a parent or carer who wants support while helping a young person with their mental health?
This is a 6-week online programme for parents and carers of young people aged 11 to 25 who are experiencing mental health challenges. It is for people living in Havering or Barking & Dagenham and offers peer support, information and practical ideas for supporting your young person and your own wellbeing.
- Meet other parents and carers with similar experiences
- Take part in small group discussions in a safe, non-judgemental space
- Get signposting information, reassurance and practical tips
- Explore topics such as communication, self-care, resilience and coping strategies
- Share thoughts and feelings without pressure
