Peer Support Workers

Peer Support Workers at Havering Mind provide recovery‑focused support delivered by people who have lived experience of mental distress or caring for someone with mental health issues. The service operates in partnership with Statutory Services across Havering and Barking & Dagenham to support recovery‑based programmes for local people experiencing common and more severe mental health problems. Referrals are through Statutory Services only (self-referrals are not accepted). The aim is to help individuals manage their mental health and wellbeing and to access additional support within Havering Mind and partner services. Cost information is not stated on the website.
