Peer support is a way of giving and receiving help with living, wellbeing and mental health.
Our Peer Support Workers bring their own lived experience of mental distress or as a carer to their support roles, to build empathy and recovery. Working in partnership with Statutory Services across Havering and Barking & Dagenham, this project supports recovery-based programmes for members of the local community experiencing common and more severe mental health problems.
Referrals are through Statutory Services only.
