Digital Champion Service

Digital Support Classes from Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering are designed to help older people gain the confidence and skills to use digital devices such as tablets, smartphones, and computers. Whether you are a complete beginner or want to improve your digital skills, our friendly Digital Champions are here to support you every step of the way.

What we offer:

• Tablet Loan Scheme: Borrow a tablet for free and explore the internet at your own pace. Our Digital Champions will guide you on how to use your device and make the most of online services.
• Training Opportunities: We provide both one-to-one and group training sessions to help you get comfortable with technology and the internet. Details on how to join or refer someone will be posted soon.
• Volunteering: Become a volunteer Digital Champion and help others get online. You don’t need to be a tech expert—just enjoy meeting people, helping others, and have basic confidence with technology.

Who can access this service?

• Local older people living within the Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering catchment area.
• All sessions and device loans are free of charge.
