Harrow Community Hubs are safe, welcoming spaces open to all Harrow residents. Run by local charities and community organisations, these hubs offer a place to meet, connect, and get involved in activities.
What do the hubs offer?
- A warm, safe space to spend time
- Friendly faces and opportunities to make new friends
- Hot meals and refreshments at many locations
- Exercise classes and health services at selected hubs
- Advice and guidance, including support with energy costs and wellbeing
Harrow Giving, with support from the Harrow Borough Based Partnership (including local NHS organisations, Harrow Council, GPs, and voluntary sector groups), has helped establish and fund these hubs. In winter 2022/23, 41 warm hubs were accessed by 3,700 people and run by 200 volunteers.
Who can attend? Anyone in Harrow is welcome. Just check the calendar or map to find a hub near you and see opening times.
Cost: Most hubs are free to attend. Some may offer paid activities or meals—please check with your local hub for details.
How to access: Visit the Harrow Giving website to find a hub, see what's on, or download a list of locations. If you need extra help, explore the Harrow Giving Directory of support and advice services.
Want to help? Businesses can sponsor a hub by providing food, drinks, space, or donations. Individuals can donate to support more community projects.
Some hubs are aimed at specific communities e.g for individuals experiencing homelessness whilst others are open to all.
