The Wellbeing Centre at Mary Ann Evans Hospice offers a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for people living with life limiting illnesses. Our goal is to help you maintain independence, manage symptoms, and address the physical, psychological, and emotional challenges that come with serious illness.
What we offer:
- Support from healthcare professionals to discuss concerns and receive guidance on symptom management.
- A welcoming space to meet others facing similar experiences, fostering social connection and understanding.
- Practical advice on diet, future care planning, and strategies for managing fatigue to help you stay as independent as possible.
- Access to a Virtual Programme via video conference, allowing you to connect with staff and other patients from home for support and socialisation.
- A range of complementary therapies designed to help you relax, cope with stress, and improve your mood.
- Carer’s Café: A meeting place for carers to share experiences, gain insights, and find support from others in similar situations.
- Volunteer-led services, including patient transport, garden help, and bereavement support.
We also provide support and guidance with financial or social concerns and spiritual care.
Our team is dedicated to enhancing your quality of life and helping you live well for as long as possible.
