Hello! I’m Cesca Myles (she/her), and I’m a qualified Integrative Creative Counsellor registered with the BACP. I believe that art and self-expression can be powerful tools for healing and growth.
You may be anxious, have times of feeling low, or stressed, or having difficulties in your relationships or work. I can support you by providing a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings using various art forms—this could include visual arts like drawing, painting, clay, or explore writing, movement or drama.
You don’t need to think of yourself as creative or an amazing artist; just bring your openness and curiosity.
If you're new to counselling and therapy or have used it many times before; I respect you’re on a unique path towards making positive changes in your life. My approach honours your individuality and uses my knowledge of different forms of counselling to be person-centred to your needs. Together, we’ll uncover what works for you and tailor our approach accordingly.
Whatever you're facing, this is time and space for you where we find ways forward.
Beyond talk therapy using the arts, I offer practical tools such as psychoeducation to understand your triggers, learn how to express yourself creatively, and enhance your self-awareness by identifying areas in your life that are troubling you and help you better cope with change.
Using the arts helps you gain insights, offers emotional or stress relief, and a deeper connection with yourself. Creativity can be a safe way of working through trauma, depression and anxiety. I have a strongly compassionate approach and our work together will aim to empower you to face challenges with newfound strength.
By engaging in creative processes, you’ll build coping skills, boost self-esteem, and find joy in self-discovery, giving you choice and opportunity in a safe space to talk.
