The Fountain Dementia Centre is a specialist day care service for people living with Dementia, providing a full day of stimulating activities, offering transport where needed, a two-course lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
A day at our specialist centre includes:
✓ Transport to and from the centre (subject to availability/need and at an extra cost)
✓ Refreshments and a two-course lunch
✓ A variety of events and activities specifically designed for people living with Dementia or memory concerns.
The Fountain Day Centre is focused on understanding each individual and their needs, and personalised care is delivered through stimulating activities ranging from cookery and baking, to arts and crafts and reminiscence.
Activities at our dementia day centres are designed to be stimulating for the brain in a relaxed environment. Some of our activities are specifically for people with dementia to help to improve their mood and memory, such as:
o Singing for the brain
o Dance for dementia
o Art for dementia
o Seated exercise
o Interactive reminiscence unit
o Trips and outings
Available for people aged 50 and over living with dementia in the Faversham area.
