The Dementia Resource Centre
The Dementia Resource Centre based in Lincoln Road/York Road is a one stop shop for people to access advice, information and support. Our aim is to provide a wide range of services that really meet the needs of local people and make a positive difference to their lives. No matter how you are affected by dementia or if you're worried about your memory, you are welcome to contact us for support and advice.
- One-to-one support for people affected by memory issues, living with dementia, their carers and family members.
- Dementia advisors are able to meet you at home or in the centre, as well as over the phone or virtually
- Support groups for people with dementia
- Support groups for Carers
- Drop-in Information sessions attended by local organisations such as solicitors and Healthy Peterborough
- Singing for the Brain Sessions
- Hair salon and beard trimming services
- Exercise groups
- Cafe
The Dementia Resource Centre is a cosy and warm space with welcoming staff, an onsite cafe, comfortable seating, a treatment room and more. There is plenty of free parking: access is around the corner of the address at 5 York Road.
The Dementia Resource Centre building is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30 - 15:30
