The Social Inclusion Project from Havering Mind supports adults living in Havering and Barking & Dagenham who are experiencing mental health challenges and social isolation.
Our aim is to reduce isolation, boost self-confidence, and promote inclusion & wellbeing. We offer practical tools for managing stress and enhancing relaxation, helping you to feel more connected and empowered.
- Topics covered: mindfulness, self-compassion, resilience building, my health and me, food and mood, connecting with others, finding solutions, moving forward, exploring opportunities within your local community, relationship building, and mindfulness.
- How we help:
- A friendly one-to-one appointment before joining the programme
- Access to tailored workshops focused on coping strategies, stress management, and social skills
- Opportunities to join social groups, activities, volunteering, and other support within the local community to build connections and reduce loneliness
- Signposting and warm referrals to other relevant local services and resources
Who can join? Adults living in Havering or Barking & Dagenham who are experiencing mental health challenges or social isolation.
