You and Me Counselling offers a range of free counselling projects for children, young people, and families across Havering, Barking & Dagenham, Waltham Forest, and Redbridge. Thanks to generous funding, these projects provide vital support to those in need, especially individuals facing mental health challenges, behavioural issues, or family difficulties.
Current Projects:
- Free support for individuals in need, subject to eligibility and available spaces.
- Referral required via the online form; spaces are limited and criteria apply.
Past Projects have included:
- Strong Minds: Counselling for children and young people (ages 10-21) at risk of exclusion or criminal activity, with family counselling available.
- COVID Relief: Free sessions for children and young people affected by mental health issues due to the pandemic.
- Young Londoners #ChangeThroughChoice: Support for children and young people (ages 10-21) with mental health issues or at risk of exclusion/criminal activity.
- Parents and Supporting Hands: Fortnightly parent/carer support group for those caring for young people with mental health or behavioural problems.
- Sounding Board: Counselling for children, young people, and families affected by substance abuse.
