Community Navigation
Verified service

Community Navigation is a free information and signposting service supporting people across Wokingham Borough to engage in self-care, become more independent, and improve their wellbeing.

Located at the Wokingham Charity and Community Hub, our Community Navigators help residents connect with the most appropriate services for their needs. Whether you’re looking to join social or physical activities, manage your health, or simply find support in your community, our team is here to guide you.

  • Personalised support: We listen to your needs and help you explore a range of local options, from exercise classes to social groups and health services.
  • Easy access: Wokingham residents aged 18+ can contact us directly, be referred by a GP, social worker, or family member, or drop in between 10am and 3pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Empowering approach: Our Navigators encourage independence and will never create dependence. All information is confidential, and we can even help make contact with services on your behalf if needed.
  • Inclusive for all: Whether you’re a young parent seeking peer support or an older adult looking for new social networks, we’re here to help you live a happier, healthier, and more connected life.

Our service is open to anyone in Wokingham Borough. If you’re unsure where to start, just give us a call, fill in a referral form, or visit us at the Hub. Sometimes, having someone to talk things through with can make all the difference!

Contact us today to find out how we can help you get connected and thrive in your community.
