Thrive Thursday

Thrive Thursdays at St Augustine's Church offer a welcoming, supportive space for the local community to connect, get active, and nurture wellbeing. Activities run throughout the day and focus on physical, mental, and emotional health.

All activities are free of charge and open to everyone. Some sessions run weekly, while others are available twice a month.

  • 9:30am: Said Communion
  • 10:30am (1st & 3rd weeks): Walking Group (in partnership with Medway Healthy Walks)
  • 10:45am (2nd & 4th weeks): Pilates (suitable for all levels)
  • 11:00am: Craft Club (variety of craft activities)
  • 12noon: Art Class (limited spaces, restarts termly) & Art Club for graduates
  • 1:00-3:00pm: Gardening Club (community garden project)
  • Café Space: Affordable café with homemade cakes, coffee, sandwiches, and free wifi – a great place to meet friends or relax
  • 2:00-4:00pm (1st & 3rd weeks): Bible Study Group (informal, open to all)
  • 2:00pm (2nd & 4th weeks): Carpet Bowls

Everyone is welcome – whether you want to join a group, try a new activity, or simply enjoy a coffee and chat. The church is always open to the community and looks forward to welcoming you in person. Message the church for online participation details.
