Angel Advocates offers independent advocacy services for individuals in need of support to have their voices heard.
We believe everyone deserves to be listened to and empowered, regardless of background, beliefs, or ability. Our service is warm, welcoming, and inclusive for people of all faiths or none, and we are committed to supporting clients from all walks of life.
What we offer:
- Independent Advocacy: Personal support to help you express your views and wishes.
- Uninstructed Advocacy: For those who may not be able to communicate their needs directly.
- Group Advocacy: Support for groups seeking to make their voices heard.
- Legal Advocacy: Currently unavailable.
Our advocates are here solely for you, with no other agenda than to support and empower you. We aim to build trust, confidence, and community through our work.
How to access:
- Complete our online referral form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
- We welcome volunteers and supporters across Cumbria. If you’d like to help, please fill out the online form or contact us directly.
Who can use this service?
- Open to adults of all backgrounds, including those with mental health needs, neurodiversity, or disabilities.
- We do not currently take on legal issues.
