Adult Weight Management
Our FREE 12 week weight management Programme is designed to support adults who fall into the category of being above a healthy weight.
From learning how to eat well and be ‘sugar savvy’ and ‘treat wise’ through nutritional top tips and advice, this course will teach you how to make the right choices and embed long lasting healthy habits.
Each session is delivered by a qualified nutritionist and personal trainer, addressing pivotal topics such as energy balance, liquid calories, processed versus ultra processed foods, physical activity and mindful eating.
We also explore the emotional connection to food where a trained therapist delves deeply into the complex connection between emotional well-being and our relationship with food.
We realise that everyone is different, so offer a variety of ways to get you well on your way to a healthier you. As part of our programme you can choose from different weekly sessions outlined below.
Child and Family Weight Management
If you’re worried about your child’s weight or physical activity levels, or if you’ve received a letter following the National Child Measurement Programme at school about your child’s weight, we can help.
Our whole-family approach involves both exercise and online advice on feeding your family well – with an eye on cost and everyone’s good health.
The 10-12 week programme is a child only physical activity programme, supporting children aged 5 to 15 to become more physically active. The sessions are 45 minutes long, involving free play and some fun games. You can also gain access to an online education hub, which can help the family to make healthy decisions and to get on the track together.
In person sessions are at Lea Manor Gym on Tuesdays at 5:15-6pm. If you can’t make this time, get in touch any way! We can also arrange online one-to-one sessions to suit your family if you would like more nutritional support.
