Helping Improve Rural Employability (HIRE) is a free service designed to support individuals who are long-term unemployed and living in rural areas of Leicestershire. If you reside in the Harborough District, the Borough of Oadby & Wigston, the Borough of Hinckley & Bosworth, or the North West Leicestershire District, you can access tailored employability support.

What HIRE offers:

  • Free, regular one-to-one mentoring to help you take your first steps towards employment.
  • Support with job searching, training opportunities, and volunteering placements.
  • Guidance with job applications and help creating your CV.

Our friendly team works in partnership with local councils to help you build confidence, develop new skills, and connect with opportunities in your community. Whether you are looking to return to work, start volunteering, or simply need advice on your next steps, HIRE is here to help.
