Health and wellbeing services for people with HIV

Positive East is East London's leading HIV and sexual health charity. We are dedicated to improving the lives of people living with or affected by HIV, offering a comprehensive and holistic range of support services.

Our services include:

  • Free, confidential counselling for people living with HIV.
  • Social and support groups: Regular groups and events to connect, share experiences, and build community.
  • Peer support and mentoring: One-to-one and group support from people with lived experience.
  • Creative activities, workshops, and courses: Opportunities to learn, express yourself, and develop new skills.
  • Women 4 Women: Dedicated support for women living with HIV.
  • Benefit advice: Expert help with benefits, welfare rights, and financial support.
  • Project Community: Outreach and engagement for people living with HIV in East London.
  • HIV/STI testing: Free, rapid, and confidential testing for anyone over 18, available at our centre and through outreach.

We also offer health and wellbeing activities, social outings, holistic therapies, and events throughout the year. Our services are open to anyone living with HIV in East London or receiving HIV clinical care in East London. HIV/STI testing is available to all adults.

All services are free and confidential. Our friendly team is here to support you, whether you need advice, a listening ear, or practical help.

Living with HIV, and resident in any of the East London Boroughs, or receiving their HIV treatment at any of the East London HIV clinics.
