Halo Exercise Referral Scheme - Supporting you to Move More for a Happier, Healthier you!
The Halo Exercise Referral Scheme is a 16-week supervised programme for people aged 16+ who are living with, or at risk, long-term health conditions. The Exercise Referral Scheme helps you improve your health, wellbeing, and confidence while staying active under expert supervision.
Who is the Programme For? This scheme is designed for people who are living with or at risk of a long-term condition such as:
- Asthma
- Arthritis
- Diabetes
- Hypertension
- Osteoporosis
- Cancer
- Heart disease
- High blood pressure (above 140/90)
- Moderate mental health conditions (e.g. depression, anxiety, stress)
- Obesity (BMI 40+) or post-physio musculoskeletal conditions
- Have a sedentary lifestyle with a medical condition that places them at risk
Here’s what to expect:
- A friendly 1-1 consultation with a qualified exercise specialist (around 1 hour)
- A tailored activity plan based on your goals, preferences, and health needs
- Ongoing support and monitoring to help you stay on track
- Access to referral-only sessions and gym clinics for extra guidance
- The opportunity to exercise in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment
- Your next session is booked before you leave, so you can keep your momentum going
Costs & Membership Options:
- Initial Appointment: £5.40 for your first 1-1 consultation with a qualified exercise specialist.
- During Your 16-Week Programme: Choose the option that suits you best, pay-as-you-go or a Halo Exercise Referral Membership for full access and support.
- After 16 Weeks: Keep up your progress with a range of ongoing membership options, tailored to help you stay active and feeling great.
