The Roma Support Group’s Mental Health Advocacy Project is designed to enhance the mental health landscape for Roma community members by offering essential support services and resources. **What We Offer:** - **One-on-One Support:** Clients receive personalized assistance to understand mental health issues, identify suitable mental health services, and communicate health needs to professionals. - **Peer Support Groups:** Monthly meetings for beneficiaries to discuss mental health challenges and coping strategies in a safe and supportive setting. - **Informative Resources:** Leaflets detailing common mental health issues and strategies for seeking support. - **Training for Health Professionals:** Sessions aimed at increasing awareness of Roma culture and enhancing effective communication with Roma service users. **Eligibility:** Open to all members of the Roma community and health professionals interested in training. **Operating Hours:** Support services are available during regular office hours. We are able to deliver our services in a number of languages including English, Polish, Romanian, some dialects of Romanes, and Hungarian. We may be able to deliver services in additional languages subject to the availability of staff and volunteers.
