Wellbeing - Care Network

We all have times where our mood can take a dip and we may feel low, stressed and worried, or isolated and lonely. This can understandably prevent us from enjoying life and getting on with the things that we need and want to do.

Sometimes a listening ear and a little person-centred support can make all the difference. Our wellbeing staff and trained volunteers provide a range of one-to-one support that can help boost your wellbeing, confidence and independence and help you feel less overwhelmed and better able to cope.

Over an agreed number of sessions the Wellbeing Service can help you identify what you feel would improve how you are feeling, understand what other opportunities and support are available and connect you with your community. As well as one to one staff support for wellbeing, we also offer a Check and Chat service, with a friendly volunteer phoning you for a regular catch up over a few weeks.

We also have a team of Trusted Friend volunteers who can offer some short-term support to help you get back out and about confidently in your community. The volunteer can accompany you for a walk in the park or perhaps come with you the first time you access a local group or activity.

Why not call us to find out how we might be able help you?
