We Are Beams Short Breaks Service offers a wide range of leisure activities and clubs for disabled children and young people up to the age of 25 in Dartford, Gravesham, and Sevenoaks districts.
Our service is designed to provide fun, friendship, and new experiences tailored to each child or young person's needs. Activities include:
- Holiday clubs and play schemes
- Family fun events, parties, and workshops
- Theatre trips, outings to wildlife parks, zoos, and the seaside
- Sailing, swimming, crazy golf, bowling, and more
- Specialist clubs for those with severe and complex needs, including 1-to-1 support and personal care
- Support groups for children and parents to connect and share experiences
Our clubs include:
- Beamers Holiday Club (ages 5-17, for those not requiring personal care or 1-to-1 support)
- KidsCamp Holiday Club (ages 5-17, for those with severe and complex needs requiring 1-to-1 support)
- Buzz Club Holiday Club (ages 18-25, for young people with severe and complex needs)
- Little Buddies (monthly support group for children with severe and complex disabilities and their parents)
All activities are member-only and require a voluntary contribution of £25 per session. We will work with you to create a support plan that meets your child’s needs.
Our facilities, including a sensory and soft play area, ball pit, and secure garden, are also available to book for private use.
