Learning Disabilities Community Connectors & Day Centres

Learning disability day centres provide accessible day services across Derbyshire.

Learning disability day centres
Currently nine building-based centres have re-opened, further to closure due to the pandemic with Oxcroft Lane joining with Carter Lane and Renishaw joining with Coal Aston.

Markham Vale Land Services (MVLS) and Paid and Voluntary Employment Service (PAVES) provide voluntary and paid work experience in and around Chesterfield, Bolsover and North East Derbyshire.

Community connectors
Our community connectors work with people who attend learning disability day services or young people in transition. They can help you develop new skills and get involved with activities in your local community. Community connectors can help you find paid or voluntary work, as well as social activity.
