Pudsey Wellbeing Charity is a friendly social hub in Pudsey, run entirely by volunteers. We offer a welcoming space and a wide range of activities designed to support both mental and physical wellbeing for people in Pudsey and the surrounding areas.
Our centre hosts a variety of groups and activities, including:
- Pudsey Ukuleles
- Art Group
- PATS (Pudsey Adults with Time to Spare)
- Youth Cafe (ages 11-17)
- Happy Stitchers
- Pudsey Wellbeing Singers
- Singing for the Brain
- Yoga and Adapted Yoga
The Open Door is our registered Welcome Space, open Monday to Friday, serving hot drinks, biscuits, and teacakes. It’s a cosy community area where anyone can drop in to meet friends, chat with volunteers, or simply relax.
Most groups are free, with a few asking for a small donation. Everyone is welcome to attend, and there’s no need to book in advance. For a full calendar of events, check our What’s On Guide or visit our centre to see the noticeboard.
Volunteering opportunities are available for anyone interested in running a group or getting involved. Volunteers can share their skills, life experiences, and be part of a supportive community.
We focus on improving quality of life, especially for those who are socially isolated or have specific needs due to age, disability, or social circumstances.
