Zest Groups from Bright Shadow offer weekly creative arts sessions for people living with dementia or memory problems in Kent and Medway.
Our groups are designed to be safe, accessible, and welcoming to all. You don’t need any previous creative experience to join – just a willingness to take part and have fun. Sessions are led by professional artists, including musicians, poets, and visual artists, and are tailored to the interests and needs of those attending.
- Weekly sessions in Medway, Whitstable, and Dover
- Free taster session available – try before you commit
- No diagnosis required – anyone with dementia or memory problems is welcome, along with their supporters
- Accessible venues and a friendly, supportive atmosphere
- Sessions are free – donations of £5 per session are suggested to help support our work
Each session includes a variety of creative activities, followed by a chance to relax and chat over tea, coffee, and biscuits. You can attend on your own or with a supporter, and you’re welcome to join at any time and continue for as long as you wish.
