Dementia Chorus: Enriching dementia arts experiences
Verified service

Dementia Chorus is a welcoming choir for people living with dementia and their supporters, run by Bright Shadow. Join us for uplifting music sessions designed to bring people together, foster connection, and encourage joyful musical expression.

Sessions take place every Wednesday afternoon from 2–3:30pm at Hythe Cricket & Squash Club. You don’t need to attend every week—come when you can, and you’ll always be welcomed back as long as there’s space.

  • Free to attend, thanks to support from Age UK Hythe, Lyminge & Ashford and the Age UK Innovation Fund.
  • Accessible for all levels—whether you’re a confident singer or simply love music, our experienced Choir Director ensures everyone can join in and enjoy the sessions.
  • Booking is encouraged so we know to expect you. Please contact Age UK Hythe to let us know which session you’d like to attend.

Who can join? Anyone living with dementia and their supporters are welcome.

If you have questions or want to know more before attending, please get in touch. We look forward to singing with you!
