Supported Self-Help is a free programme that helps people with low to moderate mental health needs.
Individuals can sign up themselves or get referred by a family member, GP, or local Mind. We’ll work together for six weeks, giving them information, resources, and regular calls to boost how they're feeling and help them understand their emotions better.
Individuals can choose one of eight support pathways: anger, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, loneliness, menopause, self-esteem, and stress.
Individuals will have access to a 40-minute initial assessment followed by five 20-minute sessions with a trained practitioner over 6–8 weeks, based on cognitive behavioural approaches (CBT).
Each week, we will check in and provide any support needed. Participants will also be provided with materials and tools to help them recognise and understand their feelings.
We can support adults over the age of 18 in England.
