Memory Support Services - Lunch Club
Verified service

Age UK Sheppey offers a comprehensive range of Dementia Services and activities designed to support people living with dementia and their carers across the Isle of Sheppey.

Our services aim to improve quality of life, provide social opportunities, and offer practical and emotional support in a safe, friendly environment. All staff and volunteers are fully trained and checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

  • Infinity Dementia Friendly Day: Join us at our Social and Activity Centre on Thursdays for morning, afternoon, or full-day sessions. Activities include mentally stimulating games, gentle exercise, and memory-based activities. A freshly cooked two-course meal is provided at lunchtime. Transport is available for those who need support getting to us.
  • Memory Support Services: We run monthly clubs and activities in the community, including a film club, lunch club, craft club, and exercise sessions. These provide opportunities for relaxation, creativity, physical activity, and social interaction in a supportive setting.
  • Peer to Peer Support: Monthly sessions for those recently diagnosed or experiencing mild to moderate symptoms. Meet others, share experiences, discuss coping strategies, and access information and advice from our experienced team.
  • Memory Snug: A smaller, dementia-friendly space designed for those who prefer a quieter, more intimate setting. Enjoy refreshments and a freshly cooked meal in a tranquil environment.
