House to Home

Carriers of Hope's House to Home furniture project helps refugees and families in Coventry turn empty properties into welcoming homes. We repurpose good quality used furniture and household items, donated by the local community, to provide everything needed for daily living—from plates and beds to washing machines and essential appliances.

Our mission: To ensure everyone rehomed at short notice has the basics to really live, not just survive. By redistributing donated items, we save them from landfill and help improve Coventry’s environment.

  • We accept donations of furniture, appliances, and household essentials.
  • Items are matched to families and individuals in need, especially refugees moving into empty homes.
  • Donations help create safe, comfortable living spaces and support people settling into the community.

How to donate: Please email furnitureproject@carriersofhope.org.uk with a description and photo of your items to check if we can accept them. For more details, visit our website or click the 'Donate Items' link.

Support us: Your donations make a real difference. Thank you for helping us build homes and hope in Coventry!
