Mentoring - Torbay

The Life Chance Trust is a specialist youth service offering support to young people aged 16 - 25 who have been made vulnerable by traumatic childhoods.

We work with young people who are experiencing barriers to accessing education, employment or training. These barriers might include mental health difficulties, special educational needs, neurodiversity and social isolation.

We provide specialist 1 to 1 mentors to offer support, guidance and practical help through a 12 week programme. Our mentors are able to provide a nurturing relationship in which young people can build confidence and self esteem, and feel more equipped to move forward into adulthood.
