The Good Grief Trust brings together over 1,000 charities and support services under one umbrella, offering help and hope to anyone in the UK who has experienced a bereavement.
We know that losing someone can leave you feeling lost and alone. Our mission is to make sure you can quickly find the support you need, whether you have lost a child, partner, parent, sibling, friend, or someone special in later life. We offer:
- Immediate access to local and national bereavement organisations
- Stories and videos from others who have experienced similar losses
- Practical and emotional support for newly bereaved individuals
- Specialist resources for young people, older adults, and those moving forward after loss
- Wellbeing advice, helplines, and a library of information
Our website features a UK map to help you find your nearest support service, as well as tailored advice for professionals, families, and friends. We also provide links to 24-hour and day/evening helplines, including Samaritans, Childline, Silverline, Cruse, and more.
Whether you need to talk, read stories, or find practical advice, The Good Grief Trust is here to guide you through every stage of grief.
All resources are free to access. Donations are welcome to support our ongoing work.
