Langdyke Countryside Trust is a friendly, voluntary organisation dedicated to preserving and enhancing the natural and cultural heritage of the Peterborough and Stamford area. Our mission is to help nature thrive while connecting people with the countryside and its rich history.
We manage a network of beautiful nature reserves, offer guided walks, and run a variety of community events and volunteering opportunities. Whether you’re interested in wildlife, local history, or simply want to enjoy the outdoors, there’s something for everyone at Langdyke.
- Nature Reserves: Explore our diverse reserves, including Swaddywell Pit, Etton Maxey Pits, Vergette Wood Meadow, and more.
- Community Events: Join us for walks, talks, and hands-on conservation activities throughout the year.
- Volunteering: Become part of a welcoming community making a real difference for local wildlife and heritage.
- Wellbeing: Enjoy the benefits of spending time in nature and connecting with others who share your passion.
We rely on membership and donations to continue our work. Support us by joining our community or making a donation—every contribution helps us protect and celebrate the countryside for future generations.
