Langdyke Countryside Trust is a friendly, voluntary organisation dedicated to preserving and enhancing the natural and cultural heritage of the Peterborough and Stamford area. Our mission is to help nature thrive while connecting people with the countryside and its rich history.
We manage a network of beautiful nature reserves, run regular walks and events, and offer volunteering opportunities for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re interested in wildlife, local history, or simply want to enjoy the outdoors, there’s something for everyone in our community.
- Explore our reserves: Discover a variety of habitats and wildlife across our managed sites, including Swaddywell Pit, Etton Maxey Pits, Vergette Wood Meadow, and more.
- Join our events and walks: Take part in guided walks, nature surveys, and community activities designed to inspire and educate.
- Volunteer with us: Get involved in practical conservation, wildlife monitoring, or help with events and outreach.
- Support our work: Become a member or make a donation to help us continue protecting local nature and heritage.
We welcome everyone who shares our passion for the countryside, from families and individuals to schools and community groups. Join us to make a real difference for wildlife and people in your local area!
As a registered charity, we rely on the support of our members and volunteers. Find out how to join or support us here.
