The Singing Cafe is a friendly, inclusive charity initiative run by Without Walls, designed to strengthen communities through the power of music. Originally created to support vulnerable members of the Leicestershire community, our singing cafes have grown to welcome absolutely anyone seeking connection, joy, and wellbeing.
Our sessions use music and singing to help address loneliness and support people living with mental health conditions such as dementia. We provide a safe, welcoming space for social interaction, relaxation, and fun. Singing offers proven health benefits, including improved breathing, speech, posture, and circulation, as well as boosting mood and confidence.
What we offer:
- Weekly singing sessions at multiple local venues across Leicestershire
- Accessible, gentle exercise suitable for all abilities (including seated participation)
- Opportunities to make friends and enjoy companionship
