One Stop Advice Centre provides free, confidential advice and support for Bedfordshire residents who are struggling with welfare benefits, debt, housing, and immigration issues—especially those facing language barriers.
Our multilingual team offers assistance in a variety of South Asian languages, including Urdu, Tamil, and Bengali. We specialise in supporting women and young people whose first language is not English, but all nationalities are welcome to contact us for help.
- Welfare & Benefits: Help with claims, challenging decisions, and advice on entitlement for all types of benefits for you and your family.
- Debt Advice: Support to tackle debt, deal with third parties, devise repayment plans, and help with budgeting.
- Housing Advice: Guidance on social housing, homelessness, urgent housing support, and housing law.
- Immigration Services: Expert advice for those looking to settle in the UK, including entrance applications.
- Additional Support: Limited one-to-one support, ladies-only coffee time, Zumba classes, and community activities to help you connect and feel part of the community.
