The Wellbeing Cafe at Treetops Hospice is a welcoming, supportive space for anyone affected by a life-limiting illness or bereavement, as well as their family members, carers, and friends.
Join us every Thursday from 10am to 3pm at our hospice in Risley. The cafe offers a relaxed environment where you can enjoy hot drinks, savoury snacks, and cakes while connecting with others who understand what you are going through.
- One-to-one chats with experienced staff and volunteers
- Advice and practical suggestions to help you maintain your independence and continue ‘being you’
- Support for any questions about your diagnosis or situation
- Information about what matters most to you and how we can help
Additional support is available from the Derbyshire Benefits Service, including:
- Benefit checks to ensure you’re receiving your full entitlement
- Guidance on which benefits to claim and how to claim them
- Help with suspended payments or claims ending
- Support with moving to Universal Credit
- Assistance with challenging decisions and preparing appeals
