Treetops Wellbeing Cafe

The Wellbeing Cafe at Treetops Hospice is a welcoming, supportive space for anyone affected by a life-limiting illness or bereavement, as well as their family members, carers, and friends.

Join us every Thursday from 10am to 3pm at our hospice in Risley. The cafe offers a relaxed environment where you can enjoy hot drinks, savoury snacks, and cakes while connecting with others who understand what you are going through.

  • One-to-one chats with experienced staff and volunteers
  • Advice and practical suggestions to help you maintain your independence and continue ‘being you’
  • Support for any questions about your diagnosis or situation
  • Information about what matters most to you and how we can help

Additional support is available from the Derbyshire Benefits Service, including:

  • Benefit checks to ensure you’re receiving your full entitlement
  • Guidance on which benefits to claim and how to claim them
  • Help with suspended payments or claims ending
  • Support with moving to Universal Credit
  • Assistance with challenging decisions and preparing appeals

Everyone is welcome—whether you are living with illness, bereaved, or supporting someone who is. There’s no need to book; simply drop in and let us know how we can help.
